well, i finally decided on a set of pipes for the thruxton from this mob in
kiwi land

at $828 they were reasonable price - cool

alas when i went to pick them up from oz post , i had to cough up another
$82.80 gst , before they would release them.

bugger n poop , bloody customs :-)

but they sound n look ever so nice, no more air compressor :-)

oh and thanks to el davo and helping me fit them*

I take it you made sure the Kiwis deducted their version of the GST
(VAT) before charging/shipping?

Otherwise you were whacked twice by the "men in black" :-/

Don't do it

Up the Old Road the other week and we heard a cruiser that someone must have
done that to. It sounded disgusting.

well we do have stricked epa stuff here that chokes most bike there can be
things done to inprove them but a little homework helps

paid the GST at the Post Office.

i did - but when i got the card from oz post saying come and pick them up ,
there was another note attached from customs attched saying " cough up baby"

well yeah , no-ones ever gonna buy a thruxton to race r1's with

but that not the point of a thruxton

in addition ive also de-restrcited the airbox, fitted a k+n and rejetted
sohopefully i might get a bit more than 62hp
